We worked alongside Camex to deliver deep drainage for a large-scale subdivision in Cambridge, for local developers 3MS.
Situated in Cambridge West, the 3MS development is a transformative initiative aimed at creating a vibrant community. The development will include a new retirement village, a 260-lot residential subdivision and land for a new school.
Nicholls and Uttinger Civil was selected by Camex as the deep drainage sub-contractor for this vital project.
We installed several kilometres of gravity pipework, through an array of challenging ground conditions including peat, heavy silts, sand and running sand.
The majority of the pipework was installed at over 4.5m deep, with depths ranging from 1.5m - 6.5m.
This project also required dewatering of trenches and and extensive shoring for the drainage installation.
We're proud to contribute to this important project, which will address the the growing need for housing and improved infrastructure in the community.
